Knowledge, Qualifications, skills and Attributes:
- Experience in Pasta, Grill and Woodfire Pizza section
- Previous experience of 2-3 years
- Working knowledge of WH&S and food safety procedures.
- Is approachable and tolerant
- Works in an efficient and innovative manner
- Professional presentation and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all level of the organisation
- Great service and communication skills
- Immaculate personal grooming and presentation
- Demonstration of organisation behaviour and values
- Building a Guest Culture and able to be building Trust and Teamwork
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Ensuring standards in food quality, consistency and WH&S are met
- Accountable for food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards
- Ensures a first in first out rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organised for quality assurance
- Follow food standards including presentation, products, and service style among others.
- Acts as liaison to front-of-house employees to ensure proper food service temperature
- Seasons food according to recipes or company need
- Prepares any necessary sauces or accompaniments before meal service begins
- Cleans up after business hours
