Location: Truganina, Melbourne
Full time position
Starting Time: Immediately
Schedule: Mon - Fri, optional Saturdays
Pay Rate: Starting at $40 - $45 per hr
Your key duties
- Fabrication and installation of Benchtops for residential and commercial projects
- Cutting, shaping and polishing stone with different types of machinery and hand tools
- Measuring, glueing and manufacturing custom stone products
- Utilise specialised tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete benchtop installations
- Operating in all aspects of the production process
- Collaborate with clients, contractors and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results.
- Utilise specialised tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete benchtop installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines throughout the process to maintain a safe work environment.
What you’ll need to succeed
- A stonemasonry trade qualification or experience within the stone industry
- At least 2 years of experience working with benchtops
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience operating CNC waterjets and bridge saws is highly desirable
- Ability to read plans and measurements
- A passion for stone work
