The Department of Health is seeking suitably qualified applicants for two Allied Health Lead Practitioners for CYMHS Youth Forensic Mental Health one in the North and one in the North West of Tasmania.
Please note these positions also being advertised as Clinical Nurse Consultant and only two positions will be filled on merit.

We are seeking senior allied health professionals with experience in clinical leadership, complex case management, assessment, trauma informed therapy, and within mental health or relevant/related sector would be ideal. You would be working within a well-supported, innovative, diverse multidisciplinary team to provide developmentally appropriate treatment with children and young people.
Our Aim:
The Child and Youth Mental Health Service in Tasmania is growing! We are seeking passionate and dedicated Lead Practitioners to provide clinical services with children and young people experiencing mental health concerns who are in out of home care. The positions available are within our new teams which are currently being developed as initiatives under the CYMHS reform program (Youth, Youth Forensic, Out of Home Care).
The Lead Practitioner will be part of the Youth Forensic Mental Health team and will have a passion for providing a person-centred approach, trauma informed therapy, and working within a multidisciplinary team environment, providing high level clinical leadership to the team.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, full time, day worker positions available, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $123,717 to $130,900 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary Packaging:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
