Two of the Gold Coast’s favourites cafés are seeking 01 experienced Breakfast Chef and 01 Café Supervisor with strong barista skills, coffee knowledge, and leadership experience to help lead our high-volume, customer-focused venues.

Both cafés serve hundreds of loyal customers daily and pride themselves on quality food, great coffee, and a strong community vibe.

Key Responsibilities for Supervisor:

• Lead and supervise daily café floor and front-of-house operations
• Deliver exceptional coffee and beverage service standards
• Train, coach, and motivate team members for consistent customer satisfaction
• Manage rosters, cash handling, and opening/closing procedures
• Ensure efficient coordination between kitchen, barista, and FOH teams
• Monitor quality, stock, and customer feedback
• Contribute ideas for promotions and service improvements

About Supervisor:

• Excellent barista skills and deep coffee knowledge – essential
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Café Supervisor, Shift Leader, or FOH Manager in a busy café or restaurant
• Strong leadership, communication, and training ability
• Highly organised, hands-on, and customer-focused
• Must have own reliable transport
• Available to work at least one weekend day each week
• Confident with POS systems and cash-up procedures

About Chef:

• Minimum 2 years in fast paced Western breakfast venues is a must
• Team player and passion about delivering quality food
• Good communicator
