We are looking for a passionate and hard working chef to join our growing team at Salamander Hotel. The successful candidate will be working with a team of fun and positive chefs in a busy venue in beautiful Salamander Bay.
We want a chef who will take pride in their work, have a positive attitude, care about their team and have a growth mindset. We are passionate about producing great food, from pub classics to fresh, seasonal specials. There is potential to grow in this role and within the group.

Qualifications and Experience
Experience as a Cook/Chef is required
Cooking in all sections
Understanding of stock control and waste minimisation
Knowledge of all kitchen procedures, food handling and workplace safety
Food Safety Certificate
Tasks and Responsibilities
Open and close of kitchen
Cooking pub/hotel food in accordance with the menu and standards
Adjust dishes for allergies and dietary requirements
Monitor food stock controls
Attention to detail in plating presentation
Ensure health and safety regulations
482 Visa sponsorship available after six months full time, for exceptional team members. We do not sponsor 186 Permanent Resident visas at the time.
