We are a busy Multi Award Winning (1 Chef Hat) Modern Italian Restaurant, proudly positioned in the heart of Mooloolaba on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
We’re looking for chefs of various levels – from Commi and Chef de Partie through to Sous Chef and Kitchen Management – to join our passionate and professional culinary teams as we head into an exciting new season.
Role & Responsibilities
As a Chef at Bella Venezia, you will:
Take ownership of your section in a fast-paced, 1 Chef Hat kitchen
Work alongside a talented team of 10 full-time chefs dedicated to producing award-winning Italian cuisine
Prepare dishes from scratch using the finest local ingredients – no shortcuts
Uphold our reputation for culinary excellence and assist the management team in driving consistency and standards
Demonstrate flexibility across sections and contribute positively to a strong team culture

We’re Looking For Chefs Who
Are professional, reliable, and highly motivated
Have experience in Italian cuisine (highly regarded)
Possess a genuine passion for food and attention to detail
Have worked in reputable or Chef Hat–standard establishments
Are flexible across multiple kitchen stations
Are available to work evenings and thrive in a busy environment

We are an Accredited Sponsor Employer and welcome applications requiring sponsorship. However, all applicants must be able to attend a face-to-face interview and a minimum half-day paid trial at our venue.
