Role overview
We are seeking an experienced cook with a strong background in Italian cuisine to join our team. The successful candidate will be confident running stations (sauté/pans, grill, pasta/sauce preparation), producing consistent dishes under pressure, and helping maintain kitchen standards.
Key responsibilities
• Prepare, cook and plate Italian dishes to our recipes and standards
• Run specific stations (sauté/pans, grill, pasta and sauce) independently during service
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures
• Assist with inventory, stock rotation and receiving deliveries
• Mentor junior kitchen staff and support team communication in service
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen Essential requirements
• Minimum 2 year experience working in an Italian kitchen
• Proven ability to run sauté/pan and grill stations and prepare sauces/pasta to high standard
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures
• Professional, reliable, punctual and team-focused attitude Desirable
• Certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff
