We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Diesel Fitter / Mobile Plant Mechanic (known internally as a Service Technician) to join our dynamic John Deere and Vermeer team in Brisbane.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Service Technician, you will:

• Carry out diagnostics, repairs, servicing and maintenance on a range of heavy equipment
• Accurately record all work completed, including parts used and time taken
• Keep the workshop tidy and take care of tools, machines and equipment
• Work closely with the team and customers to identify service needs and provide solutions
• Follow all safety procedures and represent the company professionally on-site
• Deliver expert service and support to our customers and partners
• Contribute to a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

• Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter, Mobile Plant Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic or equivalent
• Solid experience in Field Service, especially with heavy diesel equipment and major repairs

• Hands-on experience with heavy diesel equipment, including major repairs and overhauls
• Strong diagnostic skills in electrical, hydraulic and IT systems
• Great communication skills and a strong focus on customer service
• Valid driver’s licence
• The right to work in Australia OR Sponsorship is available for candidates already in Australia
• Is safety conscious, solutions focused, and ready to grow
• A proactive team player who takes ownership and drives results
• Holds relevant certifications or qualifications
