About the role

Pinata Farms Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Farm Hand to join our team in Wamuran, QLD. This hands-on role will involve a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of our raspberry farm. The ideal candidate will be a reliable and hardworking individual with a passion for agriculture and a keen interest in the growing and harvesting of produce.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the planting, maintenance, and harvesting of various crops
• Operating and maintaining farm equipment and machinery
• Monitoring crop health and implementing pest control measures
• Performing general farm duties such as irrigation, weeding, and cleaning
• Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Providing support to the farm management team as needed

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a farm or horticulture setting, preferably with a focus on growing and harvesting produce
• Open driver's licence – essential
• Experience on a fruit farm – preferred but not required
• Tractor, forklift and spraying tickets – or willingness to obtain them
• Knowledge of farming practices, equipment operation, and crop maintenance techniques
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour task
• Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate however are required to already be in Australia
