The Opportunity

We’re working with an innovative tech company experiencing strong growth across Australia and abroad. They’re looking for a proactive Finance Manager to join their finance team on a 3-month contract, with genuine potential to become permanent (Sponsorship available).

The Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance and working closely with the CFO, this is a broad and fast-paced role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Take ownership of consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities, managing the full month-end and year-end process
• Oversee all tax and compliance activities, including BAS, GST, payroll tax, and R&D submissions
• Drive improvements across financial systems and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Play an active role in the upcoming ERP implementation, ensuring data integrity and smooth process transition
• Develop and strengthen internal controls, accounting procedures, and governance standards
• Collaborate with senior leadership to provide commercial insights and financial support for new initiatives
• Manage cash flow and forecasting, ensuring the business maintains strong financial control
• Guide and support junior team members, fostering a high-performing and collaborative finance culture

About You

• You’ll bring at least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, compliance, and audit
• CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Background in Big 4 or a chartered accounting environment is essential
• Experience working within fast-paced, high-growth, or tech-driven businesses will be highly regarded
