About the Role

We’re seeking a Frontend Engineer with 3+ years of experience and strong proficiency in Flutter and TypeScript to join our product team.

This role is primarily focused on mobile app development, with occasional work on web interfaces (e.g. using Next.js or similar technologies). You’ll play a key role in building responsive, high-performance applications that deliver real value to users.

This is a full-time onsite position based at our office in Summer Hill, NSW.
Remote or hybrid work is not available.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using Flutter and TypeScript
• Build performant, responsive interfaces for mobile (primary) and web
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend engineers
• Integrate RESTful APIs and implement interactive features
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and technical decision-making
• Troubleshoot and optimize app performance
• Stay current with modern frontend technologies and best practices
• Work within an Agile team to deliver features reliably and efficiently

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Flutter for mobile development
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with Next.js or similar frameworks (bonus)
• Familiarity with backend frameworks like Nest.js (desirable)
• Good understanding of responsive design and cross-platform UI
• Experience in Agile teams and CI/CD workflows
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
• Prior experience in a fast-paced startup environment (preferred)
