About the Role:
As an Italian Chef, you will be responsible for crafting and executing a diverse menu of authentic Italian dishes, showcasing a deep understanding of traditional Italian culinary techniques and flavours.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the head chef to create and update the Italian menu, ensuring authenticity and variety.
Oversee the preparation of Italian dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
Source and select high-quality Italian ingredients, including cheeses, meats, olive oil, and fresh produce.
Enforce health and safety standards in the kitchen, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
Contribute to the creation of daily or seasonal specials, showcasing creativity within the framework of Italian cuisine.
Requirements:
Completion of a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent
Minimum 3 years experience in Italian Cuisine.
Demonstrate a genuine passion for Italian cuisine, including a deep understanding of traditional ingredients, cooking methods, and regional variations.
Have good communication skills and attitude, familiar with teamwork.

Possession of a valid English language certificate is mandatory, with a minimum overall score of 5.5 and no individual component scoring below 5.0 on the IELTS test.
