About the Role
We are seeking committed Medical and Surgical Registered Nurses to provide high-quality, patient-centred care across NT Government Hospitals. You will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced medical ward environment, contributing to improved patient outcomes and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe and effective nursing care across general medical wards
Conduct patient assessments, care planning, and evaluations
Administer medications and IV therapies in accordance with policy and standards
Work collaboratively with doctors, allied health, and Aboriginal Health Practitioners
Support junior staff and contribute to clinical education and mentorship
Participate in quality improvement and infection prevention initiatives
Essential Criteria
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
Demonstrated experience in acute or medical ward settings
Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
Commitment to providing culturally safe care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
Current Working with Children Clearance (or ability to obtain)
