About the Role

We are seeking committed Medical and Surgical Registered Nurses to provide high-quality, patient-centred care across NT Government Hospitals. You will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced medical ward environment, contributing to improved patient outcomes and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective nursing care across general medical wards
• Conduct patient assessments, care planning, and evaluations
• Administer medications and IV therapies in accordance with policy and standards
• Work collaboratively with doctors, allied health, and Aboriginal Health Practitioners
• Support junior staff and contribute to clinical education and mentorship
• Participate in quality improvement and infection prevention initiatives

Essential Criteria

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
• Demonstrated experience in acute or medical ward settings
• Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to providing culturally safe care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
• Current Working with Children Clearance (or ability to obtain)
