Requirements:

• Painting & Decorating Certificate 3
• 1 year minimum working Painting experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Erect scaffolding and ladders, ensuring the safety and protection of nearby areas with drop sheets
• Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, repairing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces
• Mix and match paints to achieve the desired colours and consistency
• Apply paints, varnishes, and stains with brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Hang wallpaper with precision, ensuring patterns align and edges are neat
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, and properly care for all tools and equipment
• Conduct minor window repairs and replace glass in both wooden and metal frames
