ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will be responsible for:
Making our range of pastries for pies, sausage rolls and sweet & savoury tart shells -Puff pastry, Brisee pastry, Sour cream pastry, Brioche pastry and Shortcrust pastry.
Assisting with filling and making of Pies, Sausage Rolls & other savoury items.
Contributing to the team with ideas for new products and special occasion items.
Following all work place procedures, maintain WHS and HAACP standards of food handling.
All product costing protocols and managing wastage.
REQUIREMENTS:
The successful applicant will have:
Have a proven track record of speed and accuracy when working with a large scale of hand made products.
Minimum 2 years as a qualified pastry chef or 3-4 years in a similar position.
Self motivated, hardworking and a team player.
Evening shifts and weekend work required.
An Australian working visa is essential.
