They are looking to appoint a Payroll Officer (noting they are open to junior with a couple years experience) on a permanent basis to join their dynamic team.

The role is based in North Sydney, with the flexibility to work from home 1–2 days per week. The office is conveniently located close to the metro and train station. Main Responsibilities: 

• Managing end-to-end payroll processing on a fortnightly basis
• Processing and calculating superannuation, payroll tax/PAYG
• Month/year end closing
• Assisting with key payroll projects
• Identifying process improvements
• Ensuring compliance with payroll related legislation
• Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business
• Partnering and developing strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
• Working collaboratively and as a team across departments.
• Assist Payroll Manager in mentoring the wide payroll team.
