Are you a Registered Nurse with experience in aged care?

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a small team in a rural aged care facility located in the stunning Hunter Valley, NSW. This role offers a unique sponsorship opportunity for qualified international candidates with Australian aged care experience, allowing you to bring your expertise to regional Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents in the aged care facility
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes for residents
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, identifying and responding to any changes
• Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, policies, and procedures
• Foster a supportive and respectful environment for residents and their families

Requirements:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
• Minimum 12 months of recent experience in Australian aged care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• A commitment to delivering high-quality care and improving the lives of older Australians
• Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts
