We are currently seeking passionate and experienced Social Workers to join our growing teams in Alice Springs (NT). International candidates are welcome to apply – Subclass 482 visa sponsorship is available.
Key Responsibilities
● Conduct psychosocial and functional assessments of NDIS participants.
● Develop and implement individualised support plans in line with NDIS goals.
● Provide advocacy and support to participants in navigating complex service systems.
● Coordinate access to housing, mental health, employment, health, and community support.
● Respond to crises and provide trauma-informed interventions.
● Maintain accurate and professional case notes and documentation.
● Work collaboratively with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
● Ensure culturally safe practices, especially in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander contexts (particularly in Alice Springs).
Essential Criteria
● Bachelor's degree or higher in Social Work.
● Eligible for or current AASW membership (Australian Association of Social Workers).
● Minimum 1 year experience in a related role (e.g. disability, mental health, child protection, or aged care).
● Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS framework and person-centred practice.
● Excellent communication, advocacy, and cultural competency skills.
● Valid (or ability to obtain) Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Police Check.
● Willingness to work in regional locations (Alice Springs or Kilmore).
● Valid driver’s licence (desirable).
