Cedar West Pty Ltd are looking for an experienced Timber / Wood Machinist to join our friendly production team on a full time basis producing a varied range of timber mouldings. The role is factory based in the Perth Hills.

Long term employment, regular overtime, state-of-the-art equipment.

The main responsibilities of the role include
- Set up and operation of 4 side (8 head) timber CNC moulder machine to meet production requirements
- Set up cutters in tool heads
- Operate machinery to grind straight and profiled cutters (training available)
- Operate timber machinery
- Maintain machinery (CNC moulders and grinders etc.)
- Quality control

To be considered for this role, you will need the following skills and attributes

- Previous experience operating and programming 4 Sider CNC timber machinery in a production manufacturing environment
- Experience in cutter block knife setting (training available)
- Experience in operating profiled grinder (training available)
- Experience in operating straight and profiled knife sharpening (training available)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A mature attitude as an important member of a small team
- Strong safety focus
- Current drivers license and reliable transport
- Pre-employment drug testing and police clearance required

SalaryIf you are successful, you will be paid a salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per annum.
