 Role: Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Volvo Truck Technician
 Employment Type: Full-Time | Workshop-Based

Are you a qualified Volvo Truck Mechanic or Heavy Diesel Technician with dealership experience? Ready to take your skills to Australia and work for a leading truck servicing dealership with a national footprint?

Our client operates a state-of-the-art workshop complex in Greater Perth and is looking for 3+ certified Heavy Vehicle Technicians experienced with Volvo, MACK, UD, or Scania trucks.

 About the Role

As a Volvo Truck Technician / Diesel Mechanic, you will:

• Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles
• Use OEM-level tools and software for accurate fault identification and rectification
• Occasionally attend off-site breakdowns or service recovery jobs
• Optionally take part in FIFO weekend work (once a month) for additional pay

 Preferred Candidate Profile

We’re looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experience:

 Education & Certification

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or international equivalent)
• Recognized certifications such as Red Seal, City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, FETAC, or a 3–4 year apprenticeship
• Brand-specific training in Volvo, MACK, UD, or Scania preferred
• International candidates must pass Vetassess Trade Assessment for Cert III equivalency

 Skills & Experience

• Proven experience servicing Volvo or Euro 6 trucks
• Familiarity with dealership-level processes and diagnostics tools
• Team player with strong problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal English communication

 Visa Sponsorship – SID Program

SID Visa Sponsorship is available for international applicants who meet Australian government requirements:

•  Recognized trade qualification (Red Seal, NVQ, City & Guilds, etc.)
•  Cert III Trade Assessment (Vetassess or similar)
•  IELTS Score 5.0+ in all bands (unless exempt by nationality or education)
•  Financial readiness and willingness to relocate ASAP after visa grant
