 About the Role

We are seeking experienced Yutong Truck and Bus Mechanics — ideally with a background in the bus, coach, or heavy vehicle industry. However, applicants with strong general mechanical experience are also encouraged to apply.

The purpose of this role is to deliver high-quality servicing, repairs, and maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction and minimal vehicle downtime. This is a hands-on role working closely with workshop teams and service managers, contributing directly to the company’s ongoing growth and reputation for excellence.

 Key Responsibilities

Perform mechanical servicing and repairs, including engines, hydraulics, auto-electrical and braking systems.

Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Conduct safe and professional test drives following servicing or repairs.

Accurately record hours worked and complete repair documentation.

Maintain a professional image and uphold company values.

Promote safety, sustainability, and quality assurance practices.

Communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and compliance standards.

 Skills and Experience

Trade-qualified Yutong Truck and Bus Mechanic (or equivalent mechanical trade qualification).

Post-trade experience highly desirable.

MR Licence essential.

• Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Electric or hybrid vehicle experience advantageous (training provided if required).
• Willingness to travel as needed to support after-sales and warranty operations.
