We are seeking skilled and reliable Traffic Controllers to join our team to assist with new civil construction projects in Brisbane.
As a Traffic Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient management of traffic at various work sites across Brisbane.
Role Responsibilities:
Directing and controlling the flow of traffic at work sites
Monitoring and adjusting traffic control measures as needed to respond to changing site specific conditions
Implementing Traffic Guidance Schemes
Ensuring the safety of workers, pedestrians, and motorists by enforcing traffic management plans
Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to traffic control activities
Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Providing excellent customer service to all road users
What we're looking for:
Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or in a similar traffic management role preferred but not necessary
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively direct and guide road users
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a dynamic environment
Current / Valid Traffic Control tickets
A valid driver's licence and the ability to work flexible hours
