A leading name in industrial fabrication, is currently seeking a skilled Industrial Workshop Painter to join their production team based in Moree, NSW
This role is integral in the production process, ensuring that all steel and fabricated items are painted to meet high-quality standards and withstand environmental conditions.
- Key Responsibilities:Surface Preparation: Sand, clean, and grind surfaces before painting to ensure the highest quality finish.
- Painting Application: Use spray guns, brushes, or rollers to apply paint evenly, ensuring durability and meeting production deadlines.
- Quality Control: Verify that each painted item adheres to IRRITEK's quality standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain painting equipment and the workshop area, reporting any required repairs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S) policies, utilizing personal protective equipment and following ventilation procedures.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:Technical Expertise: Proven experience with industrial painting techniques, safety protocols, and mechanical equipment.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Proficient in hand and power tools with an understanding of maintenance and workshop protocols.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and quality in every aspect of the painting process.
- Licenses: A valid car license is required, with a forklift or crane license (or the willingness to obtain one) highly regarded.
