Task & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to our established recipes and standards.
- Develop and improve menus to reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they meet operational requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen in line with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs to minimize waste and control expenses.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Qualification & Experience
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment.
- Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery (Certificate III or higher).
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute menus with consistent quality.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
