Position Description: Automotive Technician/Mechanic
We are seeking a qualified and experienced automotive technician/mechanic to join the team at our client's workshop in Queensland on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and excellent customer service skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fault diagnosis
- Perform wheel alignments
- Carry out general repairs of suspension and steering components
- Execute brake repairs
- Install moderate electrical components, including towbars
- Liaise effectively with customers
Requirements:
- Strong willingness to learn
- Preferably experienced as a Mechanic and/or Brake Technician
- Basic experience in wheel alignment is an advantage (not essential)
- High attention to detail
- Full driver’s license
- Ability to work well within a team
Compensation:
- $73K- 80K base salary plus superannuation and overtime
- Annual income for a standard 38-hour week, excluding superannuation, ranges from $73K to $80K per annum, commensurate with industry rates, skills, and experience
