About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced motel management couple to take on the role of Motel Manager. As a full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the motel's operations, from guest services and staff management to financial reporting and strategic decision-making.
What you'll be doing
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the motel, including reception, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest relations
- Ensure exceptional customer service and a high level of guest satisfaction
- Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance management
- Manage the motel's financial operations, including budgeting, invoicing, and reporting
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new guests and maintain occupancy rates
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure the motel is well-maintained and compliant with regulations
- Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the business
What we're looking for
- Significant experience in motel or hotel management, preferably in a couple-managed environment
- Excellent customer service skills and a proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
- Proficiency in using hospitality management software and systems
- A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing the highest standards of service
