Our company is looking for a Financial Accountant to lead their finance function including month end, payroll, cashflow forecasting, P&L analysis and accounts payable.
The Responsibilities:
- Compile precise financial statements and coordinate month-end closing activities.
- Update and track cashflow reports to ensure reliable forecasting.
- Lead and guide the accounting team.
- Conduct regular balance sheet reviews and reconciliations.
- Review and analyse Profit and Loss statements.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports, including BAS, PAYG, and payroll tax.
- Support Accounts Payable operations by managing vendor payments, processing invoices, and preparing reports for the Managing Director.
- Preparation of payroll and reporting.
The Requirements:
- Part or CA/CPA qualified.
- Minimum 3 years' commercial experience.
- Proficiency in using Xero and Salesforce. (Preferable)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in the Events, Retail or Hospitality industries. (Preferable)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
