About the Opportunity
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments to identify client needs.
- Develop individualized therapy plans to support clients in improving their communication and swallowing abilities.
- Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions to help clients achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to ensure a holistic and client-centered approach.
- Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and feedback.
- Educate clients, families, and caregivers on strategies to enhance communication and swallowing function.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy plans, progress notes, and outcomes.
- Advocate for clients' communication needs, promoting inclusion and accessibility.
About You
- Tertiary degree in Speech Therapy
- Eligibility for or current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
- Proven experience working as a Speech Pathologist with a diverse caseload
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
