We are looking for an occupational therapist to join our growing team, the successful applicant will require experience working with Adults or a peadiatric case loads.
Some of your tasks and duties are as follows:
- Assist with standardised occupational therapy and developmental review assessments
- Complete reports concisely, documenting client strengths and challenges within initial assessments, NDIS review reports.
- Develop skills to create tailored therapy plans underpinned by strong clinical reasoning to meet client goals and provide home practice activities to strengthen progress made in therapy. Client profiles include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyper Activity Disorder, Attachment and Trauma etc.
- Liaise with parents, carers, educators and health professionals involved in the care of each client
- Complete up to date client case notes using an online system.
- Show exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, with our clients, team and health professional alliances.
The Successful Applicant will have the following skills:
- Occupational Therapist Registration with AHPRA (upon degree completion)
- Excellent skills in building positive, professional trusting relationships with clients, their families, child care and school communities so that therapy is integrated into daily routines
