Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance / Mechanical Technician to join their team in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work on a variety of equipment and machinery, ensuring their proper functioning and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance and repair work on equipment and machinery, including troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and making necessary repairs
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
- Comply with all safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance work
- Communicate with clients to understand their maintenance needs and provide solutions accordingly
- Stay updated with industry developments and advancements to improve maintenance processes and techniques
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed
Required Qualification & Work Experience:
- Must have Trades Qualification and;
- At least 3 years recent and relevant experience on heavy machinery, farm machinery, feed mill operation, farm maintenance, or diesel mechanic.
Other Skills:
- Ability to work with a team and/or independently with less supervision
- Good communication skills
- With a good English test score is an advantage (minimum PTE score 36 or IELTS 5.0)
- Work experience in petrol and diesel is a good advantage
