Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the WIP – Trade Assistant is responsible to assist with fulfilling requests from various departments, such as Large Engines and Final Drives, around the Guildford Branch. This role requires the use of a Forklift and is essential for the candidate to also have extensive high reach experience.
Location: South Guildford
Roster: Mon-Fri, 2 weeks dayshift, 2 weeks nightshift, 10 hour shifts
To be successful the following is required:
- Previous experience in Warehousing, Logistics or Mining and Equipment industries
- Current Valid Forklift Licence is essential, with solid Forklift operation experience
- High Reach Forklift Licence is essential within this role
- Excellent interpersonal, technical and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and reliability
- Previous use of safety and risk assessment tools such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5's
