Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Hairdresser, you’ll be delivering a wide range of hairdressing services, including:
Haircuts: Women’s, men’s, and children’s cuts tailored to client needs.
Colouring: Expertise in foiling, balayage, root touch-ups, full-colour transformations, and corrective colour work.
Styling: Blow-drying, curling, straightening, and event-ready styles (bridal, formal, etc.).
Perming: Skilled in perm techniques to create various curl patterns.
Treatments: Providing deep-conditioning, keratin, and other specialist treatments.
Consultations: Offering expert advice on hair care, styles, and trends while building strong client relationships.
Team Mentoring: Assisting in training junior stylists and apprentices, ensuring high-quality service across the salon.
Salon Maintenance: Ensuring cleanliness and a well-organized salon environment.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hairdressing at a senior level.
Qualification in Hairdressing (Certificate III or equivalent).
Strong skills in all aspects of hairdressing, including cutting, colouring, perming, and blow-drying.
Reliability and commitment to working required hours and days.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
Willingness to commit long-term and grow with the salon.
Previous experience in an Australian salon (highly regarded but not essential).
Sponsorship candidates must meet visa eligibility requirements.
