Your part
Drawing upon your extensive knowledge, experience and proficiency in various medical imaging techniques, as an experienced Radiologist, you will provide precise and detailed visual representations for accurate diagnosis.
You will utilise state-of-the-art medical imaging technology to effectively provide precise and detailed visual representations for accurate diagnosis. Collaborating closely with other physicians and healthcare professionals, you will provide valuable insights and consultations to ensure optimal patient care.
Relocation support may be available to the successful candidate.
In this role you will:
- Provide radiological cover for all procedures performed including providing comprehensive mammogram and ultrasound reports on all patients who present to the diagnostic clinic.
- Participate in the multi-disciplinary approach to breast care involving discussions with surgeons, pathologists and clinic medical officers as well as attending clinical meetings as requested by the Director or Medical Lead.
- Participate in screening program in the following ways: Perform screening reads; Maintain an appropriate recall rate; Participate in screening meetings to review screen detected cancers, recall rates etc.; Provide comprehensive radiological reports for patients who require work up.
- Perform the following procedures as requested by the Director or Medical Lead: FNAB, Core biopsy and Localisation.
- Participate in the education of visiting medical students, radiology Registrars and in the training of clinical staff and participate in research projects as requested by the Director.

- Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Medical Degree.
- Australian Working Rights or Sponsorship is negotiable.
- Experience in the performance and interpretation of breast MRI and Contrast enhanced imaging.
- Extensive experience with breast imaging: X Rays, Ultrasounds and MRI.
- Experience using breast image guidance for biopsies and localizations.
