Dairy farm hand and 2IC positions – Terang, Victoria
Start date: February to Mid-March 2025
Location: Terang, VIC (45 mins from The Great Ocean Road, 30 mins from Warrnambool, 2.5 hrs from Melbourne)
We’re seeking motivated full-time dairy farm hands and 2IC managers (40-50 hours per week) for long-term and short-term roles (minimum 6 months) on our family owned and operated farm. Enjoy a supportive environment, modern farm facilities, and a relaxed rural lifestyle with coastal areas nearby.
Responsibilities:
· Milk harvesting (automated rotary dairy with 750 cows)
· Herding cattle on quad bike
· Feeding with JCB telehandlers
· Calf rearing & general farm duties
Requirements:
· Physically fit & willingness to get hands dirty
· Driver’s license & vehicle
· Good English
· At least 12 months dairy experience preferred
· Must enjoy early mornings and variety in tasks
