Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and program CNC machines, with a focus on 5-axis machining centers.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate production.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery.
Monitor production processes and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet strict quality standards.
Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize machining operations and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with expertise in operating CNC milling machines, lathes, manual machines, and 5-axis machining centers.
Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and creating AutoCAD drawings.
Trade qualifications or certifications in CNC machining, precision engineering, or related fields.
Strong mechanical aptitude with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with welding techniques (highly desirable).
Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and optimise machining processes.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in a manufacturing environment.
