We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plasterer/Drywall Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using modern tools and techniques, including tape dispensers, to ensure high-quality finishes on walls and ceilings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Surface Preparation: Clean, smooth, and apply bonding agents or primers to surfaces before plastering or drywall installation.
• Drywall Installation: Measure, mark, and cut drywall panels to fit designated spaces on walls and ceilings. Secure panels using screws, nails, or adhesive.
• Taping and Finishing: Apply tape and joint compound to fill joints, holes, and cracks in drywall surfaces. Use tape dispensers and other modern tools for efficiency.
• Plaster Application: Mix plaster materials and apply to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using trowels, floats, or spray guns. Create smooth and decorative finishes.
• Sanding and Smoothing: Sand rough spots after the compound dries to ensure a smooth, consistent finish ready for painting or further treatment.
• Repair and Maintenance: Repair and patch damaged or cracked plaster and drywall surfaces to restore structural integrity and appearance.
• Compliance: Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Tool Maintenance: Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in plastering or drywall installation is advantageous.
• Proven experience as a Plasterer or Drywall Installer, with a strong understanding of modern tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of different types of plaster and drywall materials and their applications.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various conditions.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with modern tools such as tape dispensers, automatic taping tools, and spray guns.
• Certification from recognized industry bodies, such as the Certified Wall and Ceiling Installer (CWCI) certification.
Work Environment:
• This role involves working on construction sites, both indoors and outdoors, and may require lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
