About the Role
In this rewarding position, you will:
Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention programs to support clients in daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, technology use, and mobility.
Work with individuals who may have additional disabilities (e.g., physical, cognitive, or hearing impairments).
Collaborate with clients, families, and professionals to create individualised therapy goals.
Prescribe adaptive equipment and provide recommendations to enhance independence.
Build referral networks and engage in community education initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to service development projects.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in occupational therapy service delivery is highly desirable, less experience will be considered for the right applicant
- A strong understanding of client-centred practice and experience working with assistive technology.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel across metropolitan and regional areas.
