We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Sous Chef keen to be involved in an exciting gastro pub in Esperance.
This full-time permanent role is perfect for the Chef who wants to be part of a happy close-knit team while working beside an experienced Head chef in a new kitchen.
Located on the Esperance foreshore overlooking the beautiful bay of isles serving high quality meals to patrons eager to enjoy their dining experience.
Our ideal candidate will be passionate about creating and building food choices that entice the palate and compliments the coastal lifestyle that is Esperance.
What your role would be:
Working alongside the Head Chef you will have a passion for cooking and drive to deliver excellent meals consistently
Lead the kitchen team in the absence of the Head chef to ensure a smooth service
Mentoring and supporting other kitchen staff to promote a positive team culture, making it a great place to work
Assist and develop new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand
Provide a consistent high quality food service using locally sourced fresh produce
What you’ll need:
3 years + experience in a fast-paced kitchen
Relevant cookery qualifications.
Proven leadership skills that would be required within a commercial kitchen setting
Excellent communication skills
