About the role
We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager/Chef to join our team in Brisbane City or Everton Park. As the Kitchen Manager/Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery of meals. This is a full-time role based in Brisbane City or Everton Park location.

What you'll be doing
- Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and budgeting
- Ensure the kitchen adheres to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Hire, develop and manage the kitchen team
- Oversee the training and development of kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to align kitchen and service operations
- Implement and monitor systems and procedures to optimise kitchen efficiency
- Develop and refine menu items to meet customer demands and dietary requirements
- Manage food cost and wastage to maintain profitability
What we're looking for
- 2 years of experience as Kitchen Manager, Chef or equivalent role in the hospitality industry
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery, Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts
