We are currently seeking applications from LAMEs to support our turbine powerline helicopter fleet. Positions are based in Perth. Touring available from other locations, including New Zealand and South Africa. Visa sponsorship is available.
The successful applicant will be expected to:
- travel to the field and/or away bases for breakdowns and scheduled checks
- maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of statutory requirements, best practice and industry trends in helicopter maintenance
- oversee internal maintenance and provide technical assistance to external providers where required
- adhere and contribute to the company’s maintenance systems and processes
- conduct line maintenance on turbine engine powered helicopters
- conduct unscheduled maintenance and testing on turbine and piston powered helicopters
- maintain records of all maintenance carried out in accordance with Aeropower systems and processes
The minimum requirements for this position are:
- Excellent understanding of WHS regulations and requirements
- Strong communication skills
- An ICAO B1.3 licence
- Ability to conduct field servicing as required from time to time
Desirable criteria include:
- A CASA licence
- E1/4/5/13/14 removed
- RR Corp 250 engine type rating
- MD500 series experience
- B1.3 & B1.4 licences
Base salary 150k. Other conditions negotiable on a case-by-case basis depending on individual circumstances of candidates. Touring roster patterns negotiable, will be based on full time base salary of 150k.
