The Role
The organisation is looking for Speech Pathologists at all career levels—senior, general, and early-career positions available. The role involves providing evidence-based interventions for adults across various settings, including rehab hospitals, aged care facilities, and home visits.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage communication and swallowing disorders in adult clients.
- Deliver interventions in-person, through home visits, or via Telehealth.
- Collaborate with families, support networks, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve client-centred goals.
- Engage in professional development and contribute to team growth.
- Maintain detailed client records and adhere to professional and NDIS standards.
- Essential CriteriaA recognised degree in Speech Pathology.
- Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience to ensure foundational skills are in place.
- Current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (for home visits).
- COVID-19 and influenza immunisation as per government requirements.
- Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills.
- Desirable CriteriaExperience working with adults with communication and swallowing needs is preferred but not essential.
- Recent graduates and early-career Speech Pathologists are encouraged to apply.
