About the role
Our company is looking for an exceptional Sous Chef to join our talented team. This is a full-time role with a sponsorship opportunity for the right candidate. As Sous Chef, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences for our discerning guests.
Mandatory Criteria
- MUST have experience in pasta, Grill or woodfire pizza section
- MUST have a car & drive as the location is not near the station
- MUST be available to work on weekends
- NOT ACCEPTING offshore applicants, must be here in Australia
What you'll be doing
- Manage and oversee all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and quality control
- Working in grill, pasta & woodfire pizza section
- Maintain strict compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Have the right attitude and Foster a positive and productive work environment
- Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies to ensure efficient operations
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and an exceptional dining experience for our guests
What we're looking for
- Significant experience as a Sous Chef in a high-quality Italian restaurant
- Experience in grill, pasta & woodfire pizza sections
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen operations
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
