As the Mechanical Engineering Technician you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintenance on the Company’s fleet of modern trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose/repairing mechanical/electrical issues on fleet
- Effectively service trucks/trailers in accordance with maintenance schedules
- Compiling and maintaining maintenance records for work performed
- Interpreting diagnostics, fault finding and troubleshooting
- Provide recommendations to Management re truck repairs/part replacements
- Work as part of a team to ensure fleet repairs are completed in a timely manner
- Adhering to Company policies on Workplace, Health and Safety
- Keeping up to date with latest automotive technologies and repair techniques
Qualities we are looking for:
· Formal qualifications in automotive technology or similar field
· Minimum 3-years experience
· Attention to detail with commitment to delivering high quality work
· Strong problem solving skills with ability to identify/resolve complex issues
· Good communication skills with ability to work alone or part of a team
· Valid drivers licence
