About Us
We are looking for an Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join our Port Hedland team in a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and repair all defective parts, machines, and equipment in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Develop more effective testing and repair techniques and procedures.
- Tests and examines products, machines, and equipment in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
- Ensures all products, machines, and equipment are 100% functional.
- Must maintain a detailed working knowledge of all Magellan products, machines, and equipment.
- Operating knowledge of ABEL and other control systems.
- Continually working on more efficient ways of testing.
- Follows internal quality assurance procedures and reports on all QA issues relating to the design or supplier.
- Ensure tools are maintained and calibration is current.
- Ensure that test specifications are filed on the server.
- Adheres to Magellan’s quality assurance procedures and ensures testing stickers are maintained at all times.
- Works autonomously and with others to find timely and effective solutions to faulty boards/machines/equipment.
Required
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or Tertiary qualification in Electronic Engineering (an advantage) or Cert IV in Electrical Engineering
- At least 2 years of relevant solid experience
- Relevant commercial and practical experience in the field
- Knowledge of AutoCAD / Draftsight / Solidworks (advantage)
- Computer Literacy (MS Office)
- Keen attention to detail and work focus.
- Time management Skills
- Communication Skills
