About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced CNC Fitter Machinist to join our world-class team. This is a full-time, permanent position with a minimum of 38 hours per week, plus plenty of overtime opportunities at time-and-a-half rates. You will be an essential part of our manufacturing process, machining components for our industry-leading pumping products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate CNC machines (Mori Seiki) with precision and efficiency.
- Operate various machines, including:
- CNC Lathes & Mills
- Millturn machines (highly desirable)
- Manual machining equipment
- Manufacture pump shafts, pump wear rings, adaptors, and other critical pump components to exact specifications.
- Machine parts to close tolerances (5-10 microns) to meet strict quality requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machinery.
- Ensure all work meets stringent quality control standards.
- Accurately interpret technical drawings and job specifications.
- Maintain meticulous records of work completed.
Who We Are Looking For

Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant Trade Qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a CNC machining role.
- Extensive experience programming and operating Mori Seiki CNC lathes (highly desirable).
- Experience with Millturn machines (highly desirable).
- Fusion 360 programming experience (highly desirable).
- Strong understanding of precision machining principles and quality assurance.
- Ability to machine parts to close tolerances (5-10 microns).
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Forklift License (advantageous).
- Strong computer and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Bathurst, NSW (international and interstate applicants welcome).
