Key Responsibilities:
- Install and Commission: Set up new HVAC systems according to company standards, ensuring proper and safe functionality from day one.
- Diagnose and Repair: Troubleshoot issues on-site, replacing faulty parts and testing equipment to ensure a complete fix.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance on client systems, keeping them running smoothly and minimizing downtime.
- Customer Interaction: Confidently train clients on equipment use, provide proactive maintenance advice, and offer repair options with clear timelines and costs.
- Daily Documentation: Keep detailed records of work completed, parts used, and any outstanding issues, maintaining clarity in job cards and reports.
- System Updates: Clock in and out using our system, logging all relevant job details to streamline operations and maintain transparency.
- Site Cleanliness: Ensure all work areas are tidy, and assist with site upkeep as part of our commitment to workplace safety.
- Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety guidelines rigorously, reporting any incidents or hazards promptly.
Requirements:
- 2+ years as a trade-qualified technician or 3-5 years in a similar role.
- AQF Certificate IV or AQF Certificate III with on-the-job training; or three years of relevant experience if qualifications were obtained overseas.
- Excellent diagnostic abilities, strong self-management, and a commitment to customer satisfaction and quality.
Desirable:
- Certification in Working at Heights or additional trade qualifications.
