ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team.
Your skill set will enable you to support adult patients with a broad range of conditions including Orthopaedic, Neurological, Cardiorespiratory & Musculoskeletal. The ideal candidate will be well organised with excellent time management skills as well as being passionate about rehabilitation and the unique role of Occupational Therapy within this setting.
Skills and Experience
- Post-graduate experience in a rehabilitation preferred but not required
- Demonstrate high level of strong communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and practice strong decision-making skills.
Desirable skills
- Experience in pressure care and seating assessments
- Knowledge of services within the local area
- FIM Credentialing
- Experience in upper limb and cognitive retraining
- Possible pathway to sponsorship for the right candidate
Requirements and certifications:
- Up to date vaccination record (including COVID-19)
- Current Working with Children Certificate
- Current National Police Check (within 6 months)
- Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
- Currently living in Australia
- AHPRA accreditation
- Current and unrestricted Australian driver's licence
