About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist reporting into the practice manager, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' functional needs and goals.
- Developing and implementing tailored therapy plans focused on daily living skills, mobility, and participation.
- Providing evidence-based interventions to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Collaborating with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic and client-centered approach.
- Maintaining accurate client records and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
- Educating clients, families, and caregivers on strategies to improve functional independence.
About You
- Completed a tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy
- Eligibility for or current AHPRA registration
- Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist for 1+ year managing a diverse caseload
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
