Speech Pathologist

We are looking for passionate Speech Pathologists ideally with 2-3 years of experience to join our teams in the Lower Southwest regions (Bunbury, Busselton and Margaret River). New graduates and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply.

Snapshot of the Role:
• Work in a goal directed way with clients and their families alongside the multidisciplinary team.
• Play an active role in building capacity for clients to live their best life.
• Enrich clients’ lives using your Speech Pathology skills to support and promote clients’:
• speech, language and communication across everyday activities and routines;
• use of Key Word Sign, low and high tech AAC; and
• successful and safe mealtimes.
• Use your experience to deliver meaningful supervision, coaching and mentoring to passionate speech pathology professionals.
• Opportunity to support a varied complex caseload - We value your ideas & innovation and work closely with you to shape caseload towards your interests and strengths.
• Delivery of high-quality evidence informed practice, including but not limited to Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
What we offer:
• Industry competitive salary range of $82,000 - $107,000 base salary + superannuation + salary packaging up to $15,899 of living expenses and up to $2,650 on entertainment benefits per year + 17.5% annual leave loading (valued at $875 - $1279)
• 4 weeks annual leave and 2 wellness days (valued at $500 - $730) pro-rata
• 5 professional development days (valued at $1250 - $1826) + $500 PD budget per annum pro-rata

What you will bring to the role:
• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and approved by Speech Pathology Australia as a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist, preferably 2-3 years experience.
• A current Drivers Licence, Working With Children (WWC) Check, NDIS Workers screen and First Aid certification.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within the transdisciplinary team.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement and deliver person-centred evidence-informed services.
• Skills and ability in providing clinical support and supervision to entry level Speech Pathologists.
• Passion and commitment for working collaboratively with clients and families to build their capacity and improve their life outcomes.
• Demonstrate commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Provide and maintain proof of eligibility to work in Australia (Considering Visa/ Sponsorship support for deserving candidates)
