Key Responsibilities
- Mentoring mid-level and junior staff through reviewing work, providing clear, concise and supportive feedback within a culture-focused environment
- Preparation and review of monthly management reports, budgets and cash flow forecasts for clients’ businesses
- Explaining the key insights from financial information and management reporting to small business owners, in a clear and simple manner
- Utilising Xero to build dashboards that deliver accurate and timely financial insights
- Prioritising and handling multiple tasks and jobs effectively, while still maintaining high-quality work
- Being the focal point for all queries and advice from your clients, ensuring they get the support they need from our services
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with your clients, working with them to achieve their business goals.
- Remaining current on industry trends, changes in regulations and best practices, and effectively communicating this information to clients in a clear and simple manner
Requirements
- Degree qualified with minimum 2 years experience in public practice
- CPA or CA qualified
- Experience working with small business clients preferred
- Proficiency in Xero ,Xero Practice Manager and MYOB
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and review the work of junior staff
Salary
- $90k - $100k + super (depending on relevant experience)
